Food City Halls will be hosting a Big Orange Pep Rally 3-6 p.m. today (9/21) in the parking lot of the newly remodeled store in Halls Plaza Center, 7202 Maynardville Hwy. The Food City smoker also will be in Halls this weekend, selling ribs and pulled pork cooked on-site as well as sides and baked potatoes.
The Pep Rally is a family-friendly event with free food and fun for all ages. Look for inflatables, coloring contests, face painting and more for kids! There will be refreshments and drawings for UT football tickets from major sponsors: Coca-Cola, Mayfield Dairy, WIVK Radio and WVLT-TV.
Local merchants participating include Core Insurance Advisors, Dippin Donuts, Marco’s Pizza, Mrs. Grissom’s Food Truck, Salsaman Salsa, Sofas and More (tent sale), Starbucks, Hooves & Feathers and Smoke Pit. Food City will offer free sushi samples.
Bring the kids to see UT cheerleaders, UT dance team, UT mascots and UT inflatables. Everyone is invited.
