Baxter Gardens are blooming

Now is the time to pay a visit to a Fountain City jewel, Baxter Gardens on Black Oak Ridge. Located at 3901 Sam Cooper Lane, the gardens have been featured in “Southern Living” and are open during the month of April as part of the Dogwood Arts.

The gardens open daily at 9 a.m. and close at dusk. This is a private home, so stay on the beaten paths, off the sculptures and out of the fountains. Visitors are welcome to take pictures, but staged photography with extra equipment (like reflectors) is not allowed. Please keep children supervised and leave the dog at home.
