In today’s competitive landscape, some people, organizations, and companies stand out by serving the community or customer by going ‘Above and Beyond’ expectations.
Jewelry Television and Make-A-Wish East Tennessee gave a special young man his special day at the JTV (Jewelry Television) headquarters.
Seven-year-old Bronson has bravely battled leukemia. He visited JTV headquarters for a day centered around one of his favorite things: gemstones. Led by JTV host Robert Thomas, Bronson embarked on a gemstone scavenger hunt filled with surprises before joining hosts Heidi Williams and Scott live on-air.
During the segment, Bronson was in for the ultimate surprise when he learned that his wish to visit Walt Disney World was officially coming true.
The celebration ended with JTV employees gathering to cheer him on, handing out his favorite candy, Skittles, and creating a memorable day for Bronson and his family.
The experience was part of JTV’s ongoing partnership with Make-A-Wish, which recently launched the national “Give More Save More” fundraising campaign and has already helped raise significant funds to support children facing critical illnesses.
Make-A-Wish East Tennessee always goes Above & Beyond to grant wishes to children ages 2½ to 18 with critical conditions, providing hope, strength, and joy. The chapter granted 87 wishes in FY25 and is on pace to grant 100+ in FY26. JTV is a locked-in partner to help with their mission.
