Mr. Rico (also known as Mr. Rico’s Tacos) is a newly opened, chef-driven taco concept located inside Kern’s Food Hall at Kern’s Bakery, 2201 Kern’s Rising Way in Knoxville, Tennessee. Known for its bold, global flavors and innovative recipes, the spot serves unconventional tacos, protein bowls, and unique side dishes.
The restaurant offers a unique twist on Mexican cuisine by blending traditional street-food concepts with unexpected culinary pairings.
- Signature Tacos: Varieties include the Cubano, Korean, Thai Shrimp, Crispy Fish, and Rotisserie Chicken.

Mr. Rico’s Tacos is open Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday: 11 a.m.– 8:45 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. -9:45 p.m.
