Weston E. Babelay

Weston E. Babelay says, “Got to love those days that start at 5 a.m. and end at 11 p.m. with laughter and great stories. I’m a little tired after walking 33,000 steps today, but it was well worth it.”

Weston and Penny Babelay hosted the April 18, 2026, event at 865 Axe Throwing. Weston posted 50-plus photos including the morning fog giving way to sunlight. He thanked KUB for getting power back on during an outage.

Entertainment was by Pistol Creek, The Johnny’s, Weathered, and Lavonda & the 865 Bandits. There were food trucks, axe throwing and community fun. This year Random Acts of Flowers was an additional recipient of proceeds.
