Pellissippi State Community College encourages the community to get to know Panther Athletics at Fan Day this Saturday, presented by Nickel Plate Properties.

Fan Day is hosted by the Pellissippi State Foundation and includes entertainment, food, and fun for the whole family. The Panthers face off against Motlow State at Ridley-Helton Field, 658 Jessamine St, in Knoxville for a baseball doubleheader.

Games are at noon and 3 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

“Fan Day is the chance for the community to get to know Pellissippi State,” said Athletics Director Brock Evans. “They can enjoy some good baseball and see what our student-athletes are achieving.”

Pellissippi students will perform the “The Star Spangled Banner,” and DJ Seabaz and the student-led Audio Production Engineering Club will provide music throughout the afternoon.

A food truck will be on site serving lunch and snacks.

The Pellissippi State Foundation will provide information about how to join the Panthers Club and support student-athletes. Panthers Club attendees will be entered into a drawing for a special meet and greet with the Panthers Baseball team, including the opportunity to attend a practice and receive a signed baseball.

“Come out to Fan Day to connect with student-athletes and see firsthand how community support helps our teams succeed,” said Hayley Bisacre, director of Annual Giving & Donor Engagement at the Pellissippi State Foundation. “Bring your family, invite your friends and make a day of it. We can’t wait to cheer on the Panthers with you.”
