‘Harvey’ on Broadway

Tennessee Stage Company will present Mary Chase’s classic comedy “Harvey” as a 30th anniversary benefit. The production will run Nov. 8-24 at Broadway Academy of Performing Arts, 706 N. Broadway, with shows at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays.

The Tennessee Stage Company is known to Knoxville audiences for Shakespeare on the Square. In “Harvey,” Tom Parkhill plays the role of Elwood, a gentle man who conjures up a best friend – an imaginary six-foot-tall rabbit named Harvey.

Cast members include Stephanie Quist, Ashley Freitag, Cheryl Hodge, H. Caitlin Corbitt, Craig Smith, Noah Stout, Steve Trigg, Terry Colquitt, Rick Patton and Tyler Gregory. Jennifer Alldredge is director, assisted by Allison Crye as stage manager and Arri Lemons handling props and costumes.
