The Knoxville community is diminished by the passing of contributing citizens. Here are four who died recently:

Melissa Lifford Watkins, 52, was food service manager for the L&N STEM Academy.

Michael James Bonfini, 57, of Kingston, was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and the owner and operator of Stanley Steemer of East Tennessee for almost 30 years.

Margaret Helen French Jones, 94, was a school board member in Harriman and executive director of the Harriman Housing Authority. She also served as manager of the state Employment Security office of Roane County.

Arvilee Grant, 88, was a deacon and longtime member of Second Presbyterian Church who was co-chair of the church’s 200th Anniversary Committee. He is survived by his wife, Helen Grant.
