- Northwest Knox BPA will meet at noon Thursday, Aug. 16, at the Karns Senior Center. The speaker is Kim Frazier of the Hardin Valley Planning Advocates.
- Knox North Lions Club will hold fundraisers at Zaxby’s restaurants, the Halls location Aug. 25, and the Powell location Sept. 1. Both days run 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A portion of the day’s sales will go to Lions Club charitable projects, and the Lions will accept donations, both monetary and gently used eyeglasses.
