Tourism is the topic when the Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen and town staff meet with hoteliers at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, in the town hall board room.

Steven M. Borden, director of TDOT Region I, will speak to the Fountain City Business & Professional Association Wednesday, July 11, at 11:55 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 5346 Broadway. Cost is $10 to attend, and lunch is provided. Borden will update attendees on the I-640 Broadway project.

Cheryl Ball has joined the Great Schools Partnership as vice president of operations. She replaces Stephanie Welch, who was elevated to CEO when president Buzz Thomas retired. Ball most recently served as the vice president of operations and client relations for Fletcher Marketing PR.
