Tennova Family YMCA will open January 1, 2023, in the location of the current Tennova Health & Fitness Center on Dannaher Drive off Emory Road near I-75. Officials posted a ceremonial signing of the lease. As previously reported, the Y will close the Bob Temple North Side Y in Halls and move staff and programming to the new facility.
Painting is underway and new workout equipment has been ordered, a Y spokesperson said.
