  • Red, White & Blues Jam, hosted by the West End Shopping Center merchants, the town of Farragut and Shop Farragut, will be 4-10 p.m. Saturday, July 8. Enjoy live music from five area bands, dine at one of the center’s eateries or enjoy the open air under the Beer Garden Tent. Here’s the schedule of bands: Terra Plane Drifters, 4 p.m.; James Seaton Quartet, 5 p.m.; CrawDaddy Jones, 6 p.m.; Mystic Rhythm Tribe, 7 p.m.; Few Miles On, 8:30 p.m. and Finale Jam – Mystic Miles, 9:45 p.m.
  • Knox County’s Second Saturday Concert series continues Saturday, July 8, with classic rockers Kitty Wampus taking the stage at The Cove in Concord Park and Wild Blue Yonder playing at New Harvest Park. The live entertainment, which is free and open to the public, runs from 6-8 p.m. at each location.
  • Mayor Tim Burchett will speak to the Fountain City Business & Professional Association at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Central Baptist Church, 5364 N. Broadway. Lunch is $10.
