Commissioner Dave Wright was at the Fountain City Post Office on Thursday, mailing notice of candidacy and appointment of a treasurer (Les Spitzer) to run for state representative from District 19. Rep. Harry Brooks announced Wednesday that he won’t run for re-election. Wright said if elected he would step down with a year and three months remaining on his commission term.
Central High School Triennial Golden Grad Reunion will be held Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Rothchild Event Center, 8807 Kingston Pike.
