Want to get in touch with your inner child? Learn how to tell “visual stories? Maybe you have questions about obtaining a business license or want to find out how to share your art with an exhibition at the Emporium Center in downtown Knoxville. At the Arts & Cultural Alliance, you can find answers to these questions and check out some of the current exhibitions at the Emporium. You can even register for the workshops below online.

  • “Recovering the Creative Child Within” with clay and fiber artist Barbara Andrew is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 17, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
  • “Visual Stories” with photographer Elle Colquitt is set for Tuesday, Oct. 15, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
  • “Do I need a business license?” with Kathryn Schrader will be held on Monday, Nov. 18, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Proposals to exhibit art for the 2020-2021 season must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18. Go here for more information and an application.
