Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation (KCDC) will host an Easter egg hunt on Tuesday, March 31, at 4:30 p.m. for residents of the Western Heights community.

The event will take place rain or shine at Western Heights Baptist Center, located at 1230 W. Scott Ave.

The egg hunt will include at least 3,000 candy-filled eggs, as well golden eggs with bicycles as a prize for the fortunate finders. An ice cream truck will provide residents with refreshing treats.

The event is sponsored by KCDC, Western Heights Baptist Center, Grace Presbyterian Church and Kickstand Knoxville.

This community engagement event is part of the Transforming Western initiative, KCDC’s ongoing effort to redevelop the Western Heights and Beaumont neighborhoods, designed to enhance access to housing, transportation, healthcare, economic opportunity, and youth development.
