Billy Heck Sr., 74, passed away October 28, 2021, following a short battle with cancer. He was a criminal investigator with the Knoxville Police Department for 31 years and was a devoted member of Cedar Lane Methodist Church.
A visitation will be held today (11/01) from 5-8 p.m. at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 West Adair Drive. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 2, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Lane United Methodist Church, 714 Cedar Lane. A graveside service with Honor Guard will immediately follow Tuesday at Lynnhurst.
Billy had many friends across Knox County, but especially in Halls and Fountain City. His three children and their families are surely proud of his life and contributions to the community. Additional obituary information is here.
