Treasure hunters have two more days to browse everything from antiques and vintage finds to boutique clothing, artisan jewelry, original art and fall décor as Vintage Market Days returns to Knoxville.
The fall market continues Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-20, at the Knoxville Expo Center, 5441 Clinton Highway.
More than 100 small-business vendors are participating in this year’s event, themed “An American Story.” Shoppers can browse vintage and antique pieces, architectural salvage, furniture, handcrafted goods, home and seasonal décor, clothing, jewelry, plants, children’s items, specialty gifts and gourmet foods.
Saturday hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m., with shoppers holding advance tickets admitted beginning at 9:30 a.m. Sunday’s hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
The first 25 people in line Saturday morning will receive swag bags containing gifts and coupons from participating vendors.
The weekend isn’t only about shopping. Vintage Market Days is supporting True Purpose Ministries of Maryville, which provides a low-cost recovery center and vocational training campus for people who have struggled with addiction. The event also supports Calvary Chapel of Crossville and its effort to build a new community center.
Parking is free, and shoppers can use a bag check and porter service for larger purchases. Saturday admission is $10 and Sunday admission is $5. Children ages 12 and younger are admitted free.
Those who purchase Friday or Saturday admission can return during the weekend at no additional charge by using an event selfie for re-entry.
With fall decorating season arriving and more than 100 vendors gathered under one roof, Vintage Market Days offers East Tennesseans a chance to shop small businesses while supporting community organizations at the same time.
