The 6th Annual UpTown North Knoxville Easter Celebration will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Belle Morris Elementary School, 2308 Washington Pike.

The family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Attendees can have portraits taken with the Easter Bunny and participate in egg races and several egg hunts for different age ranges.

With 4,000 eggs hidden on the playground, there will be fun for everyone. There will also be snacks and drinks on hand for families to enjoy.

For the fourth year, Safety Saturday follows the Easter event. First responders will be onsite with their vehicles for children to explore, and kids will get to see a bomb robot in action.

Parking is available at Belle Morris Elementary School and across the street at Washington Pike United Methodist Church. The event is sponsored by a collaborative partnership of the UpTown North community including neighborhoods, churches, schools, businesses and countless families and friends.
