School Bucks: Food City has pledged $800,000 in contributions for the upcoming school year. With Food City’s School Bucks Challenge, it’s easy to earn reward points. For every $1 you spend, using your Food City ValuCard, you’ll receive 1 point for the school you have selected. The competition is underway and will run through May 7, 2024. Seasonal flu vaccine: Food City Pharmacy locations will again provide the flu vaccine this immunization season. Vaccinations are available on a walk-up basis for those 12 and older at Food City immunizing pharmacies and will continue throughout flu season, based upon vaccine availability. Flu vaccines are available in Quadravalent or Quadravalent High Dose. Insurance, including Medicare Part B, will be accepted, many with a zero copay. Other vaccines, including Covid, RSV, pneumonia and shingles shots, will be available as well.
