Tomorrow through Saturday, NASCAR drivers will be at Food City stores in upper East Tennessee.

  • Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023 – Stephen Mallozzi, 8:30 a.m. and Justin Allgaier, 3:30 p.m. both at Blountville Food City.
  • Friday, Sept. 15 – Kaz Grala, 11 a.m. at Blountville Food City; Joey Logano, 11 a.m. at Blountville Food City; and Kevin Harvick, 1:30 p.m. at Piney Flats Food City, 6681 Bristol Hwy, Piney Flats, Tennessee.

Food City 300 is at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. with all-day activities. Dale Earnhardt Jr. will race in what may be his final time. Details here.

Bass Pro Shops Night Race, in the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS), will run from 7:30-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16. Details here. Food City is partnering with Kaulig Racing to bring back the Mountain Dew brand to the NCS. Justin Haley will drive No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. School Bucks: Food City has pledged $800,000 in contributions for the upcoming school year. With Food City’s School Bucks Challenge, it’s easy to earn reward points. For every $1 you spend, using your Food City ValuCard, you’ll receive 1 point for the school you have selected. The competition is underway and will run through May 7, 2024. To ensure your points credit to the school of your choice, simply go online here to link your Food City ValuCard to your preferred school. Seasonal flu vaccine: Food City Pharmacy locations will again provide the flu vaccine this immunization season. Vaccinations are available on a walk-up basis for those 12 and older at Food City immunizing pharmacies and will continue throughout flu season, based upon vaccine availability. Flu vaccines are available in Quadravalent or Quadravalent High Dose. Insurance, including Medicare Part B, will be accepted, many with a zero copay. Other vaccines, including Covid, RSV, pneumonia and shingles shots, will be available as well.
