Tickets are now available for the 20th Annual Pasta & Bluegrass Festival, one of Family Promise of Knoxville’s signature fundraisers supporting families experiencing homelessness.

The festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, from 6-8 p.m. at Concord United Methodist Church, 11020 Roane Drive in Knoxville. Guests can enjoy an evening of homemade pasta, live bluegrass music and friendly competition while helping Family Promise continue its mission of providing housing stability and support for local families.

Attendees will sample a variety of pasta dishes prepared by participating churches and organizations before voting for their favorite recipe. Fountain City Presbyterian Church won both best pasta categories last year and is among the competitors this year along with many other local churches.

In addition to the pasta tasting, the family-friendly event offers live bluegrass entertainment and an opportunity for the community to come together in support of a worthy cause. Proceeds benefit Family Promise of Knoxville, which works to equip, encourage and empower families experiencing homelessness through prevention services, emergency shelter, transitional housing and graduate support programs.

Tickets and sponsorships may be purchased online through Family Promise’s event page.
