The Gospel Choir, known as “Knoxville Opera goes to church,” plays a large role with the Knoxville Opera by performing multiple events every year. The choir is composed of multi-ethnic singers and instrumentalists from Blount, Knox and surrounding counties.
Jeanie Turner Melton leads the choir, having been a performer since age 8. She is holding auditions for the choir on two upcoming dates.
