Knoxville will get a new mayor and four new City Council members in 2019, and candidates are already lining up support.
Knoxville’s business and political leaders hosted a fundraiser for Janet Testerman, a candidate for at-large Seat B, at the downtown soon-to-be-home of Alan Carmichael and Cynthia Moxley. “It seemed like a good excuse for a party,” said Moxley. David Hayes is also a candidate for this seat.
