Terra Madre: Women in Clay will hold its Summer Pottery Market Sale Saturday, June 11, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Marble Hall at Lakeshore Park, 5930 Lyons View Pike.
This sale will feature a wide variety of handmade pottery and clay art by 18 Terra Madre members including Elaine Barnes, Donna Beshore, Emily Burgess, Pat Clapsaddle, Amy Evans, Lynn Fisher, Anna Maria Gundlach, LeJean Hardin, Lynne Johnson, Ellie Kotsianas-Christner, Hiromi Kuniyasu, Lisa Kurtz, Karen Kyte, LeAnn Lewis, Patty Lewis, Seiko Maeda, Sandra McEntire and Debbie Whelan.
Terra Madre is a juried group of women clay artists that was founded in 2000 by female ceramic artists in East Tennessee. Their mission is to support each other in their clay work, to advance the appreciation of ceramics in East Tennessee and to encourage each other in the pursuit of their dreams as artists and as women.
