Thinking about summer camps for the kids? Downtown Knoxville’s two historic theaters are offering them.

The Bijou Theatre Summer Camps and Workshops are the perfect opportunity for students ages 9-17 with a fun-packed summer filled with making new friends, learning new talents and making lots of great memories! Info here.

The Tennessee Theatre offers an immersive arts education program for grades 5-12 that introduces students to many aspects of theater-making, hip hop in musicals and the history of the American Revolution. Instruction will be led by Amanda Taylor, theatre teacher at Beaumont Magnet Academy, and will offer behind-the-scenes looks at touring Broadway productions, explore characters, setting, time period, theme and motivation, music and more! Info here.

Congratulations to L & N STEM Academy superlatives: Salutatorian Duncan Arnold and Valedictorian Hayden Brackeen.
