Pellissippi State Community College is offering a wide range of summer camps for middle and high school students across its Blount County, Hardin Valley, and Strawberry Plains campuses, with programs beginning in early June.

Designed to provide hands-on learning in high-demand fields and creative disciplines, the camps give students an opportunity to explore career pathways while experiencing a college environment.

Blount County Campus: Pellissippi State’s Blount County Campus will host camps focused on technology, creative writing, and college preparation. These programs introduce students to coding, storytelling, and academic readiness while building confidence through hands-on projects.

Hardin Valley Campus : At the Hardin Valley Campus, camps emphasize digital design and the visual arts. Students will explore both technical and artistic skill development, from creating 3D game environments to developing foundational art techniques.

Strawberry Plains Campus: The Strawberry Plains Campus will host camps centered on advanced manufacturing, engineering and design. These camps provide direct exposure to technical careers through hands-on training in coding, fabrication and advanced manufacturing processes.

Registration Information: Camps are filling quickly, with several beginning in the next few days. Programs are open to a range of age groups, and some include lunch or specialized equipment depending on the course.
