Have you got the luck of the Irish? Mind Yer Ps and Qs is sponsoring live music all day to celebrate St. Patty’s Day while enjoying traditional Irish food and “drink” as well! The family friendly event will be held under a large tent the from 10 a.m. -10 p.m. both Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18, and is free.

Dragon Boat Sign Ups

June is just around the corner and so is the 19th annual KARM Dragon Boat Festival at the Cove at Concord Park to be held on Saturday, June 17.

Sign up your community, friends or family team for this fun, competitive day of racing on the water. Your team can be all women, all men, or mixed gender and you can compete as the fastest of those categories as well. You can also compete for best costume, best fundraising team, best T-shirt or tent as well as other categories.

What a fun opportunity to spend the day with friends and raise funds to help KARM serve those in our community who are struggling with homelessness. Team and sponsorships are available so sign up today here.

Farragut Community Center

Pickleball open gym is noon to 2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 4-6 p.m. on Thursdays. Cost is $4. No need to register, just bring a paddle and a ball.

Basketball open gym takes place from 2-9 p.m. on Mondays; 4-5 p.m. on Tuesdays; 2-5 p.m. on Wednesdays; 4-5 p.m. on Thursdays and 2-4:45 p.m. on Fridays. Cost is $4 per person per session. Bring a ball.
