Several Knox County high school teams and individuals have won or are still competing for state championships and we will have full coverage of the winners next Wednesday in Our Town Youth edition, but for today these competitors are on the fields or courts:

Farragut vs Hardin Valley for the Division I 4A state title
Softball: Softball (McKnight Park/Sports Complex)
Gibbs softball came out of the loser’s bracket on fire after losing their first game, taking down every opponent and handily beating the team that put them in the loser’s bracket but lost in a late night game yesterday to end their come-back to the state championship for this year.
Girls’ tennis: Tennis-Girls
Several final singles and doubles matches on hand for state titles for Farragut, CAK and Knox Catholic players
