Spring high school sports championships are underway in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at various locations. Nothing can match the adrenaline and passion of young athletes reaching the pinnacle of succeeding to compete for their school or individual title of “state champion.” I got to experience this with the Gibbs softball team when my daughter played on a state title team with coach Carol Mitchell.
