Commissioner Visits South Knox Elementary

Knox County Commissioner Carson Dailey visited the South Knox Elementary Student Council on Feb 3. The SKE Student Council is a strong feature of the school. It listens to and speaks for students to keep them empowered in leadership. Dailey, who is term-limited, is sizing up 16 possible replacements.

Gap Creek Elementary School is having a Penny War to raise funds for playground equipment. Students bringing in any form of change or bills from Feb 27- March 10 will earn points for their class with the winning class earning a pizza party as well as bragging rights.
