One of the things I enjoy most about KnoxTNToday is finding new ways to bring our community together. Whether it’s sharing local news, highlighting the people who make East Tennessee special or discovering places worth visiting, our goal has always been to help neighbors stay connected.
Beginning this weekend, we’re adding two new weekly features that invite you to become part of the conversation.
On Saturdays, look for Community Snapshot, where we’ll showcase East Tennessee through your eyes. From Smoky Mountain sunrises and favorite hiking trails to hometown festivals, backyard wildlife and everyday moments, we’ll feature photos submitted by our readers. You don’t have to be a professional photographer—if it captures what makes East Tennessee special to you, we’d love to see it.
Then on Sundays, join us for Sunday Conversation. Each week we’ll ask a different question about life in East Tennessee. It might be your favorite local restaurant, a family tradition, a hidden gem, a place that brings back memories, or something that simply makes you smile. We hope you’ll share your thoughts in the comments or by email and enjoy reading what your neighbors have to say.
These new features are a natural extension of what KnoxTNToday has always been about. We believe the best communities are built when people share their stories, experiences, and memories with one another.
If you’ve followed the launch of Daily Connections, you’ve already seen our commitment to keeping readers informed and connected each weekday. Now we’re excited to carry that same spirit into the weekend.
So, check back tomorrow for the first edition of Community Snapshot, and join us Sunday for the debut of Sunday Conversation.
As always, thank you for reading, sharing your ideas and making KnoxTNToday part of your day.
