Baseball and wildlife will come together Wednesday as Zoo Knoxville hosts Smokies Day at the Zoo from 10 a.m. to noon.
The special event will feature appearances by Jackson, the Knoxville Smokies mascot, along with Smokies players, giving families a chance to enjoy baseball-themed fun while visiting the zoo.
Guests can:
- Meet Jackson, the Smokies mascot.
- Take photos with Jackson and Smokies players.
- Collect player autographs.
- Spin the prize wheel for giveaways.
The event is free for Zoo Knoxville members and is included with general admission for non-members. Activities and giveaways will be available while supplies last.
Smokies Day at the Zoo offers a fun way for baseball fans and animal lovers alike to spend a summer morning, with opportunities to meet some of East Tennessee’s favorite hometown baseball personalities while exploring everything Zoo Knoxville has to offer.
