Chester L. Sharp Sr. has been promoted to vice president and business banking relationship manager for the East Tennessee region of First Tennessee Bank. He is based in the Knoxville main office.
Sharp brings 17 years of banking experience to the post. Dave Miller, East Tennessee region president, said Sharp will focus on providing deposit, mobile and online banking, cash management, lending, and investment services to business clients.
“I’m excited to add Chester’s service-oriented expertise to our robust business banking team in Knoxville,” said Miller. “He is a highly knowledgeable banker and has been very successful in building relationships in the communities he has lived.”
Sharp worked most recently at First Tennessee in his hometown of Jackson, Tenn. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Lane College and an MBA from Bethel University.
