Michael A. Burnette, 78, passed away on October 6, 2022. Mike was a deacon and sang in the sanctuary choir at Central Baptist Church Fountain City, and was a (mostly) retired financial advisor who specialized in retirement planning.
He volunteered with Samaritan’s Ministry, the Boys and Girls Club of Tennessee Valley, the Fountain City Ministry Center and Mission of Hope. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed attending all types of sporting events with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susanne Burnette, and their children: sons Mark and Ben Burnette III; and daughter, Erin Burnette, and their families. The full obituary is here.
