Elizabeth “Betty” Montgomery, 85, of Knoxville, passed away on Sept. 3. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, singing in the church choir. She was active in the Ladies of Charity of Knoxville and was a past president. She served at St. Joseph’s School as a substitute teacher and fundraiser. She created the St. Joseph’s Fall Festival barbecue sauce. Family and additional obituary information here.
