The search for a new head football coach at Karns High School is underway.

Brad Taylor, who served as head coach for seven years, has resigned. He will remain on staff at Karns High as a social studies teacher. The announcement came from Benjamin Collins, athletic director.

Collins said Taylor “brought stability and pride to Karns High School football.” During his tenure, Karns had two consecutive playoff appearances and the first playoff win in school history.

Taylor said he had the privilege of “watching our players grow into not only good football players, but also fantastic people. … I can’t wait to see the awesome things these young men will accomplish next.”

Lee Warren, current defensive coordinator, will serve as interim head coach.
