You may have missed the summer kickoff event last Saturday, but Safety City, a kid-favorite activity, opened for summer hours starting June 6 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Safety City is located at 165 Concord Street.
Children can ride their bicycles or scooters around the miniature version of Knoxville complete with buildings and landmarks which include the Sunsphere and Neyland Stadium.
There are paved streets and sidewalks, working traffic signals and traffic signs and a working carwash. Safety City
