Broncos, Mavericks, Mustangs
Ray Varner Ford is bringing in new Fords as they roll off the line. The dealership has installed a charger for electric vehicles and has added two portable chargers.
“The new, all-electric 2022 F-150 Lightning is coming,” Ray said, and the sales crew is ready.
The F-150 Lightning is the first F-Series that’s gas-free and offers an array of connected, intelligent features with over-the-air software upgrades to ensure that your truck can get even better over time.
This is the truck of the future. You plug it into your house at night and it powers up. If your electricity goes out, the truck can provide backup power to your house if you’ve got it set up in advance. And, you can monitor your truck’s status from just about anywhere with your phone.
The 2021 Ford Bronco is an SUV with attitude. It comes in seven models including one limited-edition model that’s already sold out – nationally.
Ray Varner also likes the 2022 Maverick and Maverick Lariat, smaller and less expensive than the F-Series. The Lariat comes in 10 colors – the usual whites and grays – plus three optional choices: cyber orange, alto blue and hot pepper red.
A version comes with four doors and seating for five. Mavericks have a standard hybrid engine.
Finally, there’s the 2021 Mustang Mach-E with expected delivery in early fall. The all-electric cars have a 230-mile range with a standard battery charge. Prices start at $43,000 but can drop as low as $35,300 with a federal tax credit.
