Race Against Hunger aids local groups

The 2021-2022 Race Against Hunger campaign raised over $597,700, according to Steven C. Smith, Food City president and chief executive officer.

“We would like to thank our loyal customers for helping make this promotion such a huge success. Their generosity will help feed thousands of our friends and neighbors in need throughout the region,” he said.

Seymour Food City store manager Jason Wayman gave checks to representatives from five South Knox groups.

Kerbela ISO crafters, vendors

Kerbela Shrine Temple, inaugural One-Stop Christmas Shop will be Dec. 17-18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 315 Mimosa Ave. The Shriners are looking for crafters and vendors. Applications are in the office or email office@kerbelashriners.org.
