This is a pumpkin spill that put a spell on me, and here’s my spiel for this painting.
Loving the chaos and sameness, I’m the weirdo always snapping photos at the produce stand, farmers market, Carvers and Pratts. More fun than carving, painting these is less messy and more enduring. This week’s small painting is actually a fun bunch of colorful abstract gourds that can be seen on display at Fountain City Library until month’s end.
Posed not, I don’t know if produce proprietors practice pumpkin posing, but a plethora of pumpkins pleases my eye.
