Pellissippi State Community College’s Nursing program achieved a 100% passing rate on the National Council Licensure Examination, or NCLEX, in fall 2025, joining their peers who passed the exam last spring to ultimately achieve a perfect first-time passing rate for the entire year.

The Pellissippi State passing rate on the fall 2025 NCLEX surpassed the national average of 90%.

Nursing students at Pellissippi start with the fundamentals – classroom instruction and nursing labs to understand and learn the foundational bedside skills needed to care for a patient. From there, they continue to train in medical-surgical nursing and specialties like mental health, pediatrics, and maternal health.
