The Rev. Jean Richardson, retired pastor of Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church, has passed away. This is the home church of Knox TN Today writers Marvin West and Tom King. Here’s a story that West wrote about Richardson just before Thanksgiving.
James L. McPhetridge, 87, passed away Jan. 1. He was a well-known CPA in North Knox County and had served as a deacon at Sharon Baptist Church for more than 50 years.
Dr. Toivo E. Rist, a Farragut resident and retired dermatologist, also passed away on Jan. 1. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force.
