The Powell History Club has reset its meetings to 7 p.m. each third Thursday at the Community Center, 1708 W. Emory Road. The group previously met on Wednesday afternoons at The Front Porch Restaurant. All are invited to attend.
Gary Cunningham and Ron Evans are club leaders. The most spirited participant, though, is Gary’s mom, Dot Cunningham. It’s a family affair. Evans brought his grandson Hayden Smith to the August meeting.
