Powell residents should save the date for Powell Elementary School’s Winter Extravaganza, set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the school. The PTA-sponsored event drew a tremendous crowd last year with games for kids and great vendors offering a variety of handmade gifts.
The Front Porch will host its third annual Christmas Open House from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. It’s hard to believe Bart and Cindy Elkins have been serving great food and selling home decor in the 100-year-old Gill-Harrell house for three years.
