Bob’s Trails, Trees and Gardens, a Powell-based business owned by Bob Richards, has been working at the Henry Horton State Park with manager Shaun Tainone, Marty Gentry and the maintenance staff on the construction of a new 24-foot-long trail bridge replacing a 25-year-old bridge.

Henry Horton State Park is located in Chapel Hill, Tennessee.

Specifically, Bob’s Trails work included bridge design, development of the materials list needed, prefabrication of bridge components and project management of the actual bridge construction over three days.

Bob’s Trails designed and installed the bridge from Arvin Brown’s house into what will become the Angora Frog Farm on Brickyard Road in Powell. That project is being developed by Legacy Parks Foundation.

Carol Evans says play structures are ordered (many are custom-made) and the park will open as soon as the structures are delivered and installed.
