Paying to sleep away from home – is that what qualifies as a vacation? Several weeks ago, I took a few days to stay with friends and paint. We each found a scene we liked and went to work. There were plenty of inspiring things, but I was drawn to the early morning light from the front door of our cabin! The sun glowing through the foliage looked like mosaic shards and kept me on the porch. A fun getaway with friends, music, art and the laughter that goes with it.
That is what I call a vacation that paints a picture.
