The PSCC Motor Sports team left its mark at the Formula SAE International competition in Michigan last month as the only community college among 131 teams. SAE International is dedicated to advancing mobility engineering worldwide by connecting engineers, researchers, educators, and industry professionals. The team finished 52nd overall, scored points in every event category (only 41 teams can say that), and cleared technical inspection in the top-25 fastest time.
Pellissippi State Community College is a public community college based in Knox and Blount counties in Tennessee and operated by the Tennessee Board of Regents. The college operates four campuses: Hardin Valley, Blount County, Strawberry Plains and Magnolia Avenue.
