The Food City team was at the Hardin Valley store on Sept. 22, drumming up enthusiasm for Saturday’s game against UMass.
The UT cheerleaders were there, joined by the cheer squad from Hardin Valley Academy. Both teams were greeted by kids in cheer outfits. Smokey (the dog, not the costumed mascot) remained calm despite a small fan with a look-alike baby Smokey who was looking for dinner.
Several vendors sponsored giveaways. All-in-all it was another exciting time in Big Orange Country.
