Tennessee Volunteers will host Kentucky Saturday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. at Neyland Stadium, so it’s time for another UT Pep Rally, sponsored by Food City. This week’s event is Friday, Oct. 28, 3-6 p.m. at the Powell Food City, located on Clinton Highway between W. Emory Road and Powell Drive.

Our smoker will be on-site, selling smoked pork and more by the sandwich or the pound. There’s nothing better for Saturday’s tailgate or pre-game party.

Pep rallies generally include UT cheerleaders and members of the dance team who will pose for photos with your little cheerleader.

Vendors provide free food samples and giveaways that include UT football tickets and a year’s worth of gas. Powell store manager Todd Burnette will be grilling hot dogs. There are contests, noise and general fun. Swing by after picking up the kids.
