Two annual festivals return to downtown Knoxville this weekend! A “Walk in the Park” on Friday and HoLa Hora Latina Festival on Saturday and Sunday.

PARK(ing) Day is this Friday, September 15, 2023, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. at curbside parking spaces along Gay Street in Downtown Knoxville.

This annual event is an opportunity for both residents and businesses to display their creativity, by re-thinking the use of public space, converting metered curbside parking spaces into temporary parks.

This is part of [Knoxville] By Design and by presenting sponsor, Shannon Foster-Boline Group of Realty Executives Associates.

The 23rd HoLa Festival follows PARK(ing) Day on Saturday, September 16, 2023, 4-10 p.m. through Sunday, September 17, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. at Performance Lawn at World’s Fair Park with a Fiesta Latina; live music, dancing, draft beer, home-cooked food, draft beer and artisan craft vendors. The celebration includes a Parade of Nations, 21 educational Hispanic Heritage booths, children’s activities and community resources.

A $3 donation will be required by each person 12 years and older to enter the festival.
