Wildflower Report – Big Creek Trail (B to first large bridge) – 31 July 2023

Asiatic Dayflower – Few – At peak bloom (first ¾ mile).
Downy Wood Mint – Few – Past peak bloom.
Heal All – Few – Well past peak but a couple of nice ones.
Pale Jewelweed – Many – Mostly at peak bloom.
Reclining Saint Andrews Cross – Few – At peak bloom (small but colorful).
Rosebay Rhododendron – Few – Well past peak bloom (hard to spot).
Saint John’s Wort – Few – Well past peak bloom (very small).
Spotted Jewelweed – Some – Slightly past peak bloom.
Tick Trefoil – Many – Slightly past peak bloom (some close to peak bloom).
White Top Aster – Few – Just starting to bloom (just before the first large bridge on the left).
Wood Nettle – Many – At various stages of the blooming process.
